Summary

Enfanos is seeking a motivated Bioanalytical Technician to support Quality Assurance and Sample Analysis activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following written procedures to assay samples using wet lab techniques, calculating test results following predefined formulas, reporting test results in formal written reports, assisting in Company manufacturing activities, and operating analytical equipment (e.g., HPLC/UPLC, mass spectrometer, fluorimeter, etc.) under supervision.

In addition to expertise in wet lab techniques, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently, be able to follow good record keeping practices, and have a strong understanding of applied mathematics and data processing.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Follow standard operating procedures for preparation and analysis of biological samples (e.g., enzyme activity assays, biomarker extraction, pierce BCA assay, etc.);

  • Accurately prepare solutions and buffers following GHS labelling requirements;

  • Review, process, and manage data following predefined formulas and procedures;

  • Prepare written reports of test results for review by supervisor;

  • Keep written record of activities (laboratory notebook) following cGLP standards;

  • Operate analytical equipment under supervision (HPLC/UPLC, mass spectrometer, fluorimeter,etc.). Maintain analytical equipment performance through daily checks and record keeping;

  • Assist in Company manufacturing activities as needed;

  • Discuss results with team members and top management in regular meetings;

  • Work within the Company’s quality management system and collaborate with team members in an engaging environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in biology or chemistry with at least 3 years’ experience with wet lab techniques; or, Master's degree in biology or chemistry with at least 1 additional year experience in a wet lab;

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills;

  • Strong data processing and data management experience;

  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with HPLC/UPLC and mass spectrometry;

  • Experience working in a regulatory setting (GLP/GMP/GCP).

Benefits for this position include a monthly health insurance stipend.

The hiring pay range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 per year based on skills, education and experience relevant to the role.
