Each kit includes:
 
• Five vials of dried, pre-mixed substrate and internal standard (qNMR-quantified) for the MS/MS assay of Lysosomal Acid Lipase (LAL). Each vial supports 50 assays, for a total of 250 assays per kit.
 
• Cardiolipin, required as an LAL activator.
 
• The relevant Enzyme Assay Buffer.
 
First order also includes qNMR quantified enzymatic product relevant to the LAL enzyme assay, for mass spectrometry tuning and standard curve generation (See Absolute Quantification).
 
Note: Enfanos' LAL substrate is 100% specific for LAL; therefore, LAL assays do not require duplicate assays done in parallel in the presence and absence of the LAL inactivator Lalistat-2.
